QRE has adopted a lot of advanced equipment for design, fabrication and test such as step-lap core lamination production line, corrugated tank automatic production line and design software from Germany, Japan and Britain. QRE holds the unique "Automatic electro-coating line for Distribution transformer & Pad mounted transformer tank" in China. QRE's workshop covers an area of 250,000 m2 (10 acres). It has more than 1200 employees. QRE owns annual production capacity over 30 million kVA. The total revenue in 2008 was more than 200 million U.S. dollars.

QRE always pays great attention to the cultivation and training of employees. It is the first enterprise in the industry to establish provincial-level R&D center and national post-doctoral mobile research centre.
